Belvédère de Chalais et sentier sensoriel
Enjoy an original family walk: a tree-lined and easily accessible path, punctuated by sensory stations, leads to a magnificent belvedere on the edge of the cliff. Panoramic view of the Isère valley, the Vercors, the Alps and the Chartreuse!
The trail was initially created at the end of the XNUMXth century by the Carthusian monks who then resided at the Monastery of Chalais. They used it for their weekly walk.
Don't hesitate to visit the Romanesque church of the Chalais monastery as well as the shop, and continue your walk further up to the Chalais needle if you feel like it!
