De belvédères en panoramas

Elevations, panoramas, wide views, viewpoints, descent into the steep-sided Fure valley, ascent to the heights of Rives… A hike that allows you to discover the great landscapes of the South Voironnais!

Other possible departures: Tullins Clos des Chartreux or Charnècles Village.

On the edge of the Isère plain, the hike begins in the small historic village of Vourey, facing the Vercors and Chartreuse mountain ranges. You'll pass the St-Jean-de-Chépy estate and its landscaped park. The first stop is at the Clos des Chartreux viewpoint in Tullins; the second leads to the Parménie priory, a former Carthusian monastery at an altitude of 730 meters. This location offers a remarkable vantage point between the Bièvre plain and the Isère valley, with views extending as far as the Belledonne mountain range. You'll then descend to Renage before climbing back up to the heights of Rives, returning to Vourey.

Recommendation: respect crops and meadows by always staying on the marked route.
