Gorges de Roches Corbière

Take a stroll in a calm and relaxing valley which has been developed with 2 fishing ponds, at the end of a discreet little plateau… Ideal for a short walk in all seasons to enjoy very varied atmospheres!
The Grande Rigole, the weir of the ponds, flows into the surprising and cool Corbière gorge which cuts through a small Jura limestone ridge located between Chambaran and Vercors. After the Plantées farm, in the woods overlooking the Isère valley, the wild boars in their breeding enclosure scour the soil, announcing themselves with concerts of satisfied grunts. Returning to the northern slope, the route borders the Clarette farm which gradually gives way to its small bucolic valley. The end of the route allows you to admire a countryside made up of meadows and walnut groves dominated by the wooded slopes of the Chambaran plateau.
Tips and Suggestions

The Isère Valley is one of the terroirs of the Grenoble Walnut AOP. Take advantage of nearby farm sales to enjoy this delicious fruit full of health benefits!
