La Croix St-Denis
An immersion in the Voironnaise countryside a stone's throw from the city: green hills and meadows, discreet hamlets interspersed with pleasant undergrowth and even a small unknown peak with a beautiful view of the Western Charterhouse.
From the Garenne, climb through the last houses of Voiron by a short climb to reach a pleasant path in the undergrowth leading to the belvedere of Regardou. A landscape reading table and a picnic table overlooking the city await you. Leave behind the climb to La Vouise and continue towards the charming hamlets of Vouise then Tolvon before tackling the climb to Croix Saint-Denis via a pretty forest path. From the top of this hill, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the west of the Chartreuse. Go down the northern slope to the hamlet of Paris then Custodi to reach a forest path joining the hamlet of La Grattonnière. Then begin a long descent towards the hamlet of Orgeoise to return to your starting point.
