Le tour du Grand-Ratz

Looking to disconnect? The Grand-Ratz plateau offers a peaceful and natural escape. Immerse yourself immediately in a "mountain" atmosphere with what are undoubtedly some of the best views of the Grande Sure (1920m) and its neighbor, the Rocher du Lorzier.

The loop continues with a crossing of the Gorges du Bret, which bisect the plateau, before reaching mysterious forests, culminating in Combe Noire. Along the way, you'll also discover unspoiled hamlets where time seems to stand still.

History, culture and heritage

Note that the Grand Ratz is linked by geologists to the Jura massif, and not to the Chartreuse!
