Roselière de la Teissonnière

Easily accessible from Voiron town centre, this short nature hike will take you through woods, meadows and clearings while you discover the Teissonnière marsh. Take your time to observe the plants and animals...
This site is of significant ecological importance as it serves as a breeding site for many amphibians, including the great crested newt and the yellow-bellied toad, but also for some marsh birds that live in the marshes (reed warblers and sedge warblers, Cetti's warbler, etc.) and many dragonflies (including the Mercury damselfly).
It is also a favorite hunting ground for several species of bats.
The marsh is also home to a regionally protected plant species: Common Ophioglossus.
