The Three Crosses

The climb to "La Montagne" reveals, in a rural landscape, beautiful traditional adobe farms and barns. This walk also takes you to a small chapel founded in 1523, perched on the north shore of the lake at an altitude of 609m.

From the plateau that surrounds the mound, a magnificent panorama opens up over the chain of the pre-Alps and, in clear weather, over Mont Blanc which stands out on the horizon. A wide view of the lake is especially beautiful at sunset.

Stages of the circuit with the name of the signposts to follow: - Leaving the town hall car park, turn right onto the main street - Le Calatrin - La Montagne - Simandre - Brunet - Les Trois Croix - Sonnière - Paladru (close to restaurants "Le Relais de la Tourelle" or "Signal") - Return to the town hall Alternative: Possibility of making a shorter circuit (5km, 1h15, 140 m of altitude difference): - Leaving the car park of the town hall, turn at left on the main street - Paladru (near the restaurants "Le Relais de la Tourelle" or "Signal") - Les Prairies - Brunet - Les Trois Croix - Sonnière - Paladru - Back to the town hall
