The climb to "La Montagne" reveals, in a rural landscape, beautiful traditional adobe farms and barns. This walk also takes you to a small chapel founded in 1523, perched on the north shore of the lake at an altitude of 609m.
From the plateau that surrounds the mound, a magnificent panorama opens up over the chain of the pre-Alps and, in clear weather, over Mont Blanc which stands out on the horizon. A wide view of the lake is especially beautiful at sunset.
Discover the exceptional remains discovered under the waters of the lake at the new Archaeological Museum of Lac de Paladru (MAPL)!
