Every year since 2020, Lake Paladru has offered a car-free tour around the lake. Whether by bicycle (electric or not), balance bike, scooter, rollerblades, or any other non-motorized form of soft mobility, it's a festive and family-friendly event not to be missed! Whether you're athletic or not, young or old, cycling is the perfect way to explore Lake Paladru 🙂
By bicycle: the tour around Lake Paladru is reserved for bicycles
This event has all the ingredients for a pleasant day; all that's left is to hope for sunshine! In 2025, the public turned out in force to fully enjoy the day and the complete closure of the lake to cars and motorized vehicles! A car-free day around the lake is also an opportunity to enjoy numerous activities and try out a variety of other things: sailing, archery, laser shooting, climbing, rowing…

Enrich your day by exploring a wide range of 100% free activities. Throughout the day, numerous activities are offered (free access and subject to availability)... Don't hesitate to bring your family!
To add rhythm to your tour of the lake, stop by one of the Department's stands to pick up the booklet. treasure hunt And you'll have riddles to solve all day long!
Cycling Universe
Free access activities in the world of cycling, in Charavines near the Tourist Office.
A mountain bike ride at 14pm is being offered by the Cycling Tourism Federation. Registration at the FFCT stand.
The electric bike ride, supervised by a Natura Vélo instructor, can be found in the activities on reservation (registration opens Monday, September 14 at 14 p.m.).
Traffic disruptions
The roads around the lake will be closed to motorized vehicles from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m., so we advise you to plan your visit accordingly. If you are driving, it is best to identify the municipality where you can park based on your point of origin: Charavines, Villages-du-lac-de-Paladru (Le Pin and Paladru), Montferrat, or Bilieu.
To come and enjoy it, if you're driving, you'll need to check your route to access the parking lots and/or why not come by bike or bus, as soon as the information about the 2026 edition is revealed 😉
