Every year on July 14th, swimmers meet for a crossing of Lake Paladru over 3 distances of their choice: 3200m, 1600m and 600m.

A sporting event open to adults and children, registration is online only (no on-site registration) on the website of the French Open Water Swimming Federation.

Montferrat Beach

With its large beach, wide open spaces, and numerous nearby parking areas, Montferrat beach is a very pleasant starting and finishing point for sporting events around the lake. It's also the starting point for the Trail du lac de Paladru races in April, the famous Tour du lac Paladru (running race), and the Triathlon 😉
