N°1 – Les étangs d'Oyeu

Very technical course. At the beginning, a nice short and fast climb, a good warm-up, leading to the Thivoley ponds appreciated for their calm. Recurring wood cutting, prefer weekends.
Panoramic view of the lake rewarding a 2nd ascent on a slope.
Herons and frogs greet mountain bikers after a very rocky descent. The route is sometimes muddy. The end of the circuit zigzags across the Blaune plain and returns via the old Carthusian monastery, the Sylve Bénite (Blessed Forest) and the village of Le Pin.

FIELD NEWS (June 2022): recurring woodcutting. For your safety, do not enter the area if construction sites are in progress. Prefer the weekend!
