This walk allows you to walk along the seven castles of the town and enjoy landscapes dotted with huge chestnut trees and fresh forests.

By switching to the town of St Sulpice des Rivoires, the landscapes are strewn with immense chestnut trees. Planted in the 18th century, they provided significant additional food for peasant families. If you go down through the Servelongue forest, have fun recognizing the different species of trees. Perhaps you will meet oaks from which the name of Rivoire comes (Celtic term "reopens").
At the bottom of this descent, you can see a weaving factory dating from 1920 in which silk umbrella cloth was made. In the 60s, silk was replaced by synthetic and parachute fabrics. The activity ceased in 1970.

Additional information : Shops in the town center In summer, the leaves of the trees can obstruct the view of the châteaux, which are surrounded by large green spaces.
