Moirans can be discovered through monuments that evoke important moments in our history. From the Gallo-Roman era when Morginum (Moirans) was crossed by a Roman road, to the industrial revolution which gave the town a new boom, there are sections of history that are open to discovery.
With in particular the Church of Saint Pierre (last vestige of the Priory of Saint Pierre which is today the subject of archaeological excavations), equipped with stained glass windows produced by Arcabas; the former Couvent des Cordeliers (1st convent of the Franciscan order founded in Dauphiné in 1220) and the former inn of the Pâris brothers (illustrious family of Dauphiné who shone in the world of finance at the time of the regent, then by Louis XV), with the Parc de la Grille, a true haven of tranquility, the medieval tower, a vestige of the medieval fortifications
