After discovering the churches of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Bruno and a few steps away from the latter, the Bonnat chocolate factory immerses you in the atmosphere of a tea room where you can discover the ancestral know-how of the chocolate maker since 1884. Finally , and not to be missed under any circumstances, finish your discovery by diving into 400 years of history of the famous Chartreuse Elixir produced in Voiron.
The churches of Voiron:
Discover the oldest building in Voiron, the Church of St Pierre (2007th century) and the remarkable Church of St Bruno, listed as a Historic Monument since 1864. The latter (XNUMX) is inspired by the Gothic style of the XNUMXth century. Its stained-glass windows tell the story of the Old Testament, the New Testament and the life of the Church. In the right apsidiole, a bay retraces the life of St Bruno, another (historical stained glass window) is related to the construction of the Church.

Classified as a Historic Monument in 1973, the organ of St Bruno has 2500 pipes, 3 keyboards and 1 pedalboard. Organ hours are given every summer (May to September). The program is available at the Tourist Office.
