“Nights outside the Barn” Festival

During 3 exceptional evenings on the theme of the circus, the Grange orchard comes alive. An appointment not to be missed for the whole family! Think carpooling and bring a plaid to sit on!

3 evenings, 3 shows:

- Thursday August 1: “Petra” – Cie La Folle Allure, duration: 50 min
“Petra” is an invitation to a mythological journey, a return to our primitive origins. This show speaks of exile and the search for identity, of these pitfalls which make us grow, these horizons which invite us to escape. What we constantly construct and deconstruct, to always move forward on the paths of our lives. What we destroy, that sometimes we regret, but sometimes frees us... What we leave behind, what builds us, what we become.
It brings together on stage an aerialist on a smooth rope and manipulator of stones and a vocal artist and musician, around work based on organic matter (rope/stones/voice).
A road that crosses space, 30 stones, 30m of rope, to tell this path. Leave with your history, your baggage, your weight, your life, your beliefs, your limits, your doubts; abandon them one by one on the road and feel light, and fly, and BE, and LIVE.

- Friday August 2: “La PochtroMorphose”, Cie la Vrille, duration 45 min
It's the story of a clownish character, not very comfortable in front of an audience. It is only when he shows his pleasure that he will gain confidence in himself. There, he will give everything out of a need for recognition, to the point of exhaustion, which will leave him with no other choice but to settle down... A restless rest will then give way to a peaceful awakening.
“PochtroMorphose” is a show in two acts, generous, funny, touching and impressive, which offers the spectator the opportunity to witness the meeting of burlesque and contemporary around the theme of metamorphosis. It is then that clowning, the absurd and technical prowess give way to the poetry of danced movement and the beauty of gesture.
Thus, it is in a search for balance and fluidity that the artist Guillaume Lamour chose to direct his show.

- Saturday August 3: “Brodouais”, cabaret duo, Fifty company, 45 min
Brodouais, a charming town in Indre et Loire, was the birthplace of two regionally known cabaret artists, Alabama and Kentucky. From an early age, they have continued to perfect themselves in the art of all kinds of feats with the aim of reaching the Broadway of their dreams. Sometimes a singer, sometimes a juggler, wielding magic and poetry while coming close to danger.
