It all started the day Barthélémy Champenois, a meta-science cycling researcher, opened this letter from Air France, offering to offset his CO2 emissions from his flight to New
York where he gave his last lecture. He refuses the offer to take care of it himself and finds himself embarked on a mad race for carbon offsetting, propelling him well beyond the limits of the absurd.
We follow him in his quest for truth steeped in humor, between his calculations, his doubts, his scientific explanations and his madness, suspended between a past that he cannot change and a future that seems very difficult to avoid.
A funny and quirky conference-show on our ways of living with the contradictions that drive us in the face of climate change.
